Sandleheath Neighbourhood Plan

New Forest District Council (NFDC) is consulting on the submission version of the Sandleheath Neighbourhood Plan, which has been submitted to the Council.  This is the formal Regulation 16 consultation stage.   

The consultation commences on Wednesday 5 November 2025 and responses must be received no later than 5:00pm on Wednesday 17 December 2025.  

​​​Electronic representation can be submitted directly on the NFDC Neighbourhood Plan consultation webpage. ​Alternatively, representations may be submitted by email to policyandplans@nfdc.gov.uk.

​​This consultation is being administered by NFDC. Please do not send representations to Sandleheath Parish Council. 

​​Please be aware that all representations will be publicly available and may also appear on the NFDC and Sandleheath Parish Council websites.   

​​Following this 6-week consultation, representations received before the response deadline will be submitted to the independent Examiner who will be appointed by the District Council.  The examiner will consider the representations and recommend whether the Neighbourhood Plan can proceed to a local referendum.

Comments received after the 5:00pm Wednesday 17 December 2025 consultation response deadline will not be accepted and will not be forwarded to the appointed Examiner for consideration.
